Samir Habchi is a Lebanese film and television director, screenwriter, and professor with a long-standing career in audiovisual production. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematographic Directing and has worked across cinema, television, and documentary filmmaking for several decades.
Film and Television Work
Samir has directed and written numerous films and TV series, including Meshwar, Smoke Without Fire, and the award-winning Le Tourbillon. His work has been recognized at international festivals, including FIPA Biarritz and Carthage Film Festival. In television, he has directed major series such as Bakir, Aswad, Saweni, Ward Jouri, Al Chakikaten, Wayen Kenti, Sara, and Majnoun Layla, among many others across local and international TV stations.
